Overview
The Partnerships Officer supports Partnership Specialists and senior management in deepening collaboration with key stakeholders to enhance environmental scanning, knowledge exchange, resource mobilization, and policy influence, aiming to increase UNICEF's visibility and influence.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate narrative and financial donor reports, maintain reporting trackers, consolidate inputs, ensure compliance, and support clearance and submission.
- Support grant creation, amendments, and no-cost extensions in UNISON, ensure timely payment requests, fulfil visibility and closure requirements, and coordinate follow-up.
- Track funding opportunities, pipeline status, income trends, and funding gaps, and prepare analyses to support donor engagement, programme planning, and resource mobilization.
- Research current and potential partners, maintain donor mapping tools and profiles, and identify alignment with UNICEF Pacific programme and funding priorities.
- Support donor and partner relations by assisting with correspondence, information requests, meeting coordination, and follow-up actions.
- Coordinate development of stories and visibility materials showcasing partner-supported results and ensure compliance with donor recognition requirements.
- Maintain organised records of donor reports, agreements, partner profiles, funding data, and engagement materials.
Required Experience
A minimum of two (2) years of relevant work experience in Programme Management, partnership management, resource mobilization, external relations, donor relations, stakeholder engagement, policy analysis, international development, government relations, interagency coordination, communications and any other related fields.
Qualifications
Bachelor or equivalent (First Level University Degree) in Political Science, Communications, International Development, international relations, public affairs and any other related fields.
