National Consultant, Support to the Project “Optimization of Insecticide-Treated Net (ITN) Distribution Channels”

Overview

Support the project “Optimization of Insecticide-Treated Net (ITN) Distribution Channels” by analyzing ITN distribution processes and providing recommendations for optimization.

Key Responsibilities

• Validate the analysis methodology with the NMCP and partners.
• Serve as national focal point and liaison with the Ministry of Health.
• Adapt and pre-test project instruments.
• Review all available documentation on ITN distribution.
• Map processes, partners, etc. for different stages.
• Collect and share documents and information needed for the desk review and landscape tool.
• Gather experiences, perceptions, and views of stakeholders.
• Analyze data collected and identify trends, successes, challenges, and innovations.
• Identify and document lessons learned, innovations, and good practices.
• Produce a comprehensive report with lessons learned, best practices, and recommendations.
• Prepare a PowerPoint presentation highlighting key findings.
• Produce specific operational deliverables as determined with the NMCP.
• Review AMP and EMET outputs for national alignment.

Required Experience

• In-country presence.
• 3 to 5 years’ experience in designing and implementing qualitative field studies.
• 3 to 5 years’ experience in ITN distribution through different channels.
• Experience writing reports in English.

Qualifications

Master’s degree or higher in a relevant field.
