Overview
The Community Engagement Assistant will support the Vaka Pasifika project in documenting community experiences related to public finance management, resource allocation, and public services. The role focuses on capturing human-interest stories that make PFM issues accessible and reflect Pacific community perspectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify communities, engage with community members, conduct interviews, and document relevant stories and experiences.
- Support information gathering, basic fact-checking, and preparation of stories or story summaries for review.
- Contribute to the identification of relevant story themes and sources.
- Support the coordination of interviews and research.
- Assist in developing and refining stories for the intended audience.
