Video Editing Support for YDEEP Impact Video (UNDP Youth Moonshot)
Overview
Seeking a skilled video editor to produce a 2-3 minute impact video for the Youth Digitalization for Employability and Entrepreneurship Programme (YDEEP). The video will showcase YDEEP's results, highlight partnerships, and connect programme impact to the UNDP Youth Moonshot's regional vision.
Key Responsibilities
- Reviewing the provided narrative arc, script, on-screen text, and production brief
- Assembling and editing raw footage (video clips and photos) into a cohesive, high-quality final film
- Designing and integrating on-screen text, titles, lower thirds, and impact number sequences
- Applying UNDP brand guidelines consistently
- Adding English subtitles and ensuring all text is clear and well-timed
- Producing a full 2-3 minute version and a 60-second social media cut
- Incorporating feedback across up to three rounds of review
- Delivering final files in MP4 format at minimum 1080p resolution
Required Experience
Minimum 3 years of professional video editing experience. Experience editing documentary-style or impact-driven video content for international organisations, NGOs, or development agencies. Strong skills in motion graphics, on-screen text design, and title card creation. Experience adding and formatting subtitles and captions. Ability to work with mixed source material. Previous experience working with UN agencies, UNDP, or international development organisations is desirable. Experience producing social media video cuts is desirable.
Qualifications
Strong proficiency in professional video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or equivalent.
