Field Agent

Overview

The Field Agent will support the implementation of household field surveys and related activities, ensuring accurate data collection and community engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out household field surveys by applying previously defined socioeconomic questionnaires.
• Maintain orderly, standardized, accurate, and structured data records.
• Ensure the proper, accurate, and ethical collection of data and information.
• Disseminate and publicize the programme within the target communities.
• Participate in training sessions on fieldwork approaches, methodologies, data collection tools, and ethical standards.
• Attend project meetings and local meetings.
• Support the organization and implementation of field activities and community engagement events.
• Ensure that all technical activities are performed in accordance with quality standards and operational procedures.
• Collaborate with institutional knowledge management processes.
• Ensure that all activities are conducted in accordance with the principles of integrity, professionalism, and ethical standards of the United Nations.
• Elaborate and submit Monthly Activity Reports and other requested reports.
• Perform other duties related to field data collection and project implementation.

Required Experience

Minimum two (2) years of experience in research, data collection and/or conducting interviews/ questionnaires in Brazil, preferably in the intervened/ vulnerable communities, is required. Previous experience within the UN System is desirable.

Qualifications

High School diploma is required, or additional two (2) years of relevant technical experience to the post, beyond the requirement.
