Overview

Support the implementation of a project and its activities, including event production, content management, and dissemination of advocacy materials.


Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in the production and organization of events, participatory workshops and meetings.
  • Contribute to publication activities and content management.
  • Contribute to the dissemination of corporate advocacy materials.
  • Participate in the coverage of workshops, including photographic and other visual content.
  • Produce and publish human impact stories, workshop coverage and content.
  • Maintain an organized and accessible information and documentation system.
  • Deliver assigned communication activities within agreed deadlines.
  • Prepare reports in accordance with applicable Portuguese-language standards and ABNT norms.
  • Contribute to ensuring communication outputs are aligned with quality expectations.
  • Monitor assigned deliverables in accordance with the work plan.
  • Maintain organized records of project activities, risks and key documentation.
  • Prepare and format reports in accordance with ABNT guidelines.
  • Uphold ethical principles.
  • Perform other administrative, operational or management-related duties.
Required Experience
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in communications and advocacy in Brazil is required.
  • Previous experience working in the United Nations is desirable.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or additional two (2) years of relevant technical experience to the post, beyond the requirement.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications or related fields is desirable.

Remuneration
Remuneration will be determined in accordance with the applicable UNOPS Local ICA or UNDP’s salary scale and the level established through the official classification process.
