Internship - Treasury Team Chief Financial Officer Division (CFO) Division Rome, Italy
Overview
Internship opportunity within the Treasury branch of the CFO Division, focusing on supporting financial resource management, cash flow availability, and security of cash resources.
Key Responsibilities
- Extract, validate, consolidate, and review data for audit and reconciliation.
- Analyze information to identify discrepancies and support investigations.
- Maintain reconciliation trackers and status reports.
- Support the preparation of reports and presentations.
- Administer bank account signatory change processes.
- Monitor requests and follow up on outstanding actions.
- Maintain accurate records and supporting documentation.
- Liaise with field office finance personnel and internal stakeholders.
- Prepare standard correspondence and reports.
- Assist in maintaining treasury systems and databases.
- Support initiatives for process improvement and service delivery.
Required Experience
Experience with data analysis, reporting tools, or financial systems would be an advantage. Knowledge of treasury, banking, audit, or reconciliation processes would be desirable. Knowledge of WFP established service management platform (EasyVista) would be desirable.
Qualifications
Currently enrolled in an undergraduate programme (at least two years completed) or a graduate programme from a recognized university; OR a recent graduate (within six months prior to application). Classes attendance in the last 12 months of enrolment in a recognized university.
