AI and Digital Solutions for Health Security Associate Officer (AI4RISK Project)
Overview
Support the development and testing of AI/ML workflows, data integration, and risk models for the AI-driven disease risk mapping initiative (AI4RISK Project).
Key Responsibilities
- Support the design and prototyping of the AI4RISK platform for AI-driven disease risk mapping
- Support the development and integration AI-based risk models using multi-source data
- Support the building of data pipelines to combine human, animal, and environmental datasets aligned with the One Health approach
- Apply WHO-aligned principles on data governance, ethics, and responsible AI
- Document technical specifications and contribute to reports and presentations
Required Experience
3 months relevant experience. Demonstrated interest or experience (ideally one year) in AI/ML, data science, or software development. Familiarity with geospatial analysis, data integration, or digital health platforms. Previous experience as a volunteer and/or experience of another culture (i.e. studies, volunteer work, internship) would be highly regarded.
Qualifications
Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Geospatial Information Systems (GIS), Epidemiology, Public Health Informatics, or a related field combining health and technology.
